  • Minimum Rank of Rokudan

Kioyshi

  • Minimum Rank of Nanadan or Lifetime Achievement status

  • Must present significant Contribution to Uechiryu

  • Minimum age of 40 years old

Hanshi

  • Minimum Rank of Hachidan or Lifetime Achievement status

  • Position given to members of the Senior Master’s Council

  • Minimum age of 45 years old

Hanshi-Sei

  • Minimum Rank of Judan or Lifetime Achievement status

  • Minimum age of 65 years old
